Englewood Camera Club

David Tejada, a nationally known corporate photographer and lighting instructor, will speak to the Englewood Camera Club at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 about location lighting, using Speedlights — a short course on how to achieve studio quality lighting on location. Arapahoe Philharmonic

The Arapahoe Philharmonic will perform its annual Children’s Discovery concert for elementary and middle school students at 10 a.m. Nov. 14 at Denver First Church of the Nazarene, 3800 E. Hampden Ave., Cherry Hills Village.

The program will include Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf,” including the composer’s narration, and Saint-Saens’ “Carnival of the Animals” with Ogden Nash’s verses.

Dance in Denver

Auditions for “Trav’lin — The 1930s Harlem Musical” will be held Nov. 27 ( adult principals) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Arvada Center, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada.
