What makes you the best choice for this office?

I am a Colorado Native and 17-year resident of Adams County. After 22 years of service in the US Army, I retired as a Health Care Non-Commissioned Officer. I have worked in the field of nursing since 1992, the past 17 years in End-of-Life Care. I have extensive experience working with dying people and their families offering support, compassion, and education.

What must an effective Coroner accomplish?

An effective coroner should function as part of a team to provide the most accurate and timely information possible. An effective Coroner will set the tone for the Office of the Coroner and provide a healthy working environment for everyone on the team.

What traits are crucial for a Coroner to possess?

Honesty, integrity, and incredible compassion.

What will your top priority be, if elected?

I believe the coroner's office has an untapped opportunity to connect with the community in meaningful ways and to provide unique educational opportunities to at-risk populations.

What else should voters know about you?

I am active in my community as part of a small non-profit providing basic medical care to the needy and at-risk population, an active member of my local church, and a small business owner in Commerce City.
