What makes you the best choice for this office?

With the Democratic Party moving farther Left and the Republican Party moving farther Right, a lot of people in both parties are feeling like they are no longer represented by the Party they chose. I don't care who you love or what gender you are. It's none of my business, nor is it the government's. Just don't ask me to pay for anyone's healthcare but my own. I believe in self-responsibility.

What can the Legislature do to ease the strain of rising housing prices on Colorado residents?

Home prices are a function of market forces, not government. The problem is far more demand for places to live than there are places. Also, the fact that people coming from out of state, selling million-dollar homes, are willing to pay far above market price. Anything the government does will only make it worse. The market will stabilize, or even drop in the future. With a growing economy, people should be making higher salaries.

What can be done to ensure the state's transportation system will be able to accommodate continued population growth?

Anyone who lived through T-Rex knows it didn't work. The highway north is as bad as it was before years of construction. Road work needs to account for future traffic volume, not current capacity. Also, making Light Rail convenient to more people will ease congestion. The London Underground is a perfect example of a public transport system that works. You can get from anywhere, to anywhere, half a dozen ways. Even the suburbs.

What two issues demand more attention in the upcoming Legislative session than they received in the previous one, and why?

Blockchain regulation and Healthcare. Two bills were written on blockchain last year but no one in the legislature knew anything about what blockchain is or how it works. I do. Colorado needs light regulation so blockchain and cryptocurrency startups know they are following the rules. It will attract new business and increase the economy.

Last year's bill to require upfront pricing at Emergency Care Facilities was fantastic. This year it should cover all medical facilities.

If elected, what must you accomplish in order for you to consider your term a success?

Being elected will be the biggest success. The majority of voters in Colorado (and my district specifically) are not registered as Republicans or Democrats. They are “Unaffiliated”. That majority is currently unrepresented at any level of government. By being elected, I give a voice to the majority of Coloradoans, who are currently mute. By simply doing what the majority of voters want, I will be a success.
