Lone Tree In-N-Out on track to open this year

3 Colorado locations to be completed in coming months, officials say

Officials of In-N-Out Burger say the company remains on track to open its first three Colorado restaurants by the end of the year, including its Lone Tree location near County Line Road and Yosemite Street.

The California-based burger chain turned heads when it announced its first Colorado location planned for Colorado Springs. Last year, the Lone Tree City Council approved a site plan for In-N-Out in the Park Meadows shopping district.

“Because of the amount of construction that still needs to take place at our distribution center in Colorado Springs and our restaurant sites, it isn't yet possible to nail down a precise opening date,” an In-N-Out spokesperson said via email Sept. 3.

Officials said that, by the end of 2020, Colorado will have an In-N-Out in Lone Tree, Aurora and Colorado Springs.

In-N-Out is building a distribution center and restaurant in Colorado Springs. As of last year, officials hoped to build in Fort Collins as well.

The restaurant is being constructed at 9171 E. Westview Road, between Mike's Camera and a Bank of America branch. The site plan calls for a 26-car drive-thru that may be attended by up to eight employees at once.

Officials say the Lone Tree location will be In-N-Out's second-busiest drive-through, behind the location near Los Angeles International Airport, which can hold 30 cars.

“We are very much looking forward to serving Double-Doubles in Colorado late this year, and we appreciate our customers there that have shared their anticipation with us as well,” the spokesperson said.
