As of April 3, Tri-County Health Department's combined jurisdiction had 1,042 reported cases of COVID-19. In Colorado, more than 4,000 cases had been reported across 53 counties.

Tri-County's coverage area is Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas counties.

Arapahoe County accounted for 501 cases, followed by Adams County with 285 and Douglas County with 188. The location was pending for 68 cases. In the Tri-County area, which includes about 1.5 million people, 22 deaths had been reported — 10 in Arapahoe, eight in Adams and four in Douglas.

Aurora — which encompasses parts of all three counties, but is largely located in Arapahoe — was the community with the most cases at 323. Highlands Ranch had the most cases in Douglas County at 60. Thornton's 58 were the most in Adams County.
