“The mountains are calling and I must go …” is a theme for a new exhibit at Curtis Center for the Arts: “MTNS” will open Jan. 11 and run through Feb. 22 at the Curtis Center, 2349 E. Orchard Road, Greenwood Village, presenting works by a dozen Colorado artists who share an affection for the mountain landscape. They are: Leslie Jorgensen, Beau Carey, George Kozmon, Elaine Coombs, Pat Finley, Eden Kiel, Angela Bely, Jeff Aeling, Fawn Atencio, Chuck Parson, David Shingler and Ulrich Gleiter. A reception is planned for Jan. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. 303-797-1779.
New Year’s Eve
Littleton Symphony, directed by Jurgen de Lemos, will present its third annual New Year’s Eve Concert at 6:30 p.m. at Littleton United Methodist Church, 5894 S. Datura St., Littleton.
