Boys golf, softball and boys tennis have been given approval to begin play this fall, the Colorado High School Activities Association announced July 31.
The sports can begin practice, the association said, listing boys golf with a date of Aug. 3 and softball and boys tennis with a date of Aug. 10.
The sports were approved as part of CHSAA's return-to-play plan submitted to the state's COVID-19 response team in Gov. Jared Polis' office, according to the release.
CHSAA was awaiting a decision on the remaining sports. Upon approval of the association's submitted plan, it anticipates that a full calendar can be shared for the 2020-21 season, the release said.
