The virtual version of the annual “This is Colorado” exhibit, sponsored by Littleton’s Heritage Fine Arts Guild, is now available on the Arapahoe Community College website. Juror Amelia Furman announced awards on Nov. 2 and the show will run through Jan. 30, 2021. Best in Show is Michael Veltkamp’s colored pencil and pastel drawing, “Freedom,” depicting a storybook magic white horse. ‘Own an Original’ scheduled

Littleton’s annual “Own an Original” exhibit will appear in the round, at the Littleton Museum, 6028 S. Gallup St., Littleton, from Nov. 20 to Jan. 3. This year’s theme, chosen by the Littleton Fine Arts Board, is “Liberating Humor.” The juror will be Sarah Magnetta, Ph.D. There will not be an opening reception this year, but one can reserve a time to visit: Tuesday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Curator of Exhibits Moira Casey says they will probably also do an online version. Book submissions requested

Colorado Humanities and Center for the Book invites submissions for the Colorado Book Awards. Forms are available at coloradohumanities.org. Submission deadline is Jan. 8, 2021. ‘Zoo Motel’ virtual

Lucidity Suitcase and Buntport Theatre announce “Zoo Motel,” written and performed by Thaddeus Phillips, who is returning to Buntport. A deck of cards will be needed to participate. Broadcast live from a village in South America. A ticket assigns you to one of 21 rooms in a motel, which will be populated with “various surprises.” Director Tatiana Mallarino has been quarantined with Phillips and watches the process as on a movie set. Through Dec. 19, Thursdays to Saturdays, at 8 p.m. Running time: 63 minutes. Room rates, tickets: $19.95 for Thursdays; $22.97 for Fridays and $24.99 for Saturdays.
