Digital Subscription FAQ's

On June 1, 2017, we implemented a new subscription model. Print subscribers will have access to all of our digital content. That means you will be able to access our content where and how you want it - through all platforms, including web, mobile, smart phone, tablet and delivery of the print on the days you select.  VIP Digital Access subscribers will receive access to all Colorado Community Websites.

Active print subscribers will receive VIP Digital Access at no additional charge.  Residents who make a voluntary contribution of $50 or more in 2022/2023 will receive VIP Digital Access for the year at no additional charge.

For Digital Access you will create your account upon checkout.  You may login to any of our websites to access full online content at any time.

Non subscribers will be limited to 2 articles per month.

Why are you making this change?
Today, readers access our unique, high quality local content in a number of ways. This full access subscription model creates a structure to allow readers to choose how to read our news and information.

In conjunction with this effort, we are also investing in the unique local content we deliver across all platforms including tablet, mobile, and new technologies as they come to market.

What are the benefits of this new full access model?
Subscribers can access content anywhere and anytime using digital platforms. The content accessed through the Web, mobile, and tablet will be frequently updated and will provide coverage of breaking news and events through articles and photos as well as provide content that cannot be included in print, such as video and digital advertising. The subscription pricing is aligned with content value.

What subscription options for news and information are offered?
Prices vary based on your choice of the frequency of delivery of the print edition. Options are:
- VIP Digital Access Only - Click here to subscribe
-Receive both VIP Digital Access (all sites) and print edition (where available) -Click here to subscribe. In certain areas we offer 1st class mail for $150/year.

If I'm a subscriber or made a voluntary contribution, how do I access content online and through digital devices?
From a Desktop PC or Mac:
1. Go to the your community newspaper website.
2. Look for the "Login" link in the top right corner of the screen and follow the steps outlined to get access.  You can locate your account using your last name and street address.

Is there any way to access your content if I'm not a subscriber?

Non-subscribers will only have access to limited portions of our content, 2 stories per month. The digital platforms will be metered, meaning a non-subscriber will be able to access content up to a certain point. Breaking News, Flip Book E-Edition, Classifieds and obituaries, events and calendar, NewsLink, Contact Us, and Special Sections will remain accessible to anyone, even without a subscription.
