A rally and press conference on Equal Pay Day in support of the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB19-085) was held on April 2, marking the day that women’s earnings will finally “catch up” to men’s earnings from last year, due to the gender gap in pay.
The bill, that seeks to address the gender gap, is sponsored by Sen. Jessie Danielson, Sen. Brittany Pettersen; Rep. Serena Gonzales-Gutierrez, and Rep. Janet Buckner.
