Two Littleton artists have work exhibited in separate gallery spaces at 6851 W. Colfax Ave. in Lakewood (Pasternack’s). Sue Blosten’s small assemblage piece, “Heavy Heart,” created from concrete wood and metal, is included in a “Dark Heart Show” at Kanon Collective. The building is also the new home of the CORE New Art Space group of artists, which moved from a Santa Fe Drive location last year. Call for Artists:

Denver’s Public Art Program seeks to commission an artist, or team of artists for art in two sites in the Sun Valley neighborhood. One site is inside Rude Park at West 13th Avenue and Decatur Street at the entrance to the Lakewood Gulch Trail. The other is at the reconstructed length of West 10th Avenue between Decatur Street and Bryant Street. This will become a festival street. Sun Valley is seen as a gathering place. SUE: the T. rex Experience has arrived at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, 2001 Colorado Blvd., Denver — a traveling exhibition from Chicago’s Field Musem includes: a cast of SUE’S 40-foot skeleton; a full-sized, fleshed-out replica of a T. rex, preying on a duck-billed herbivore, Edmontosaurus; floor to ceiling animations of SUE tromping through their world, meeting other animals, and occasionally growling; touchable bronze casts of SUE’S bones; and a multimedia light show.
