The next court appearance for Steven Hendricks, who was wanted for attempted murder, is a setting hearing at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, in Adams County Court. His arraignment is set for July 22.
Officers took Hendricks into custody in the 2100 block of East Bridge Street.
"We received information that Steven Hendricks was inside one of the townhouses," said Sgt. Monce Portillo. "The responding patrol officers confirmed that the tip was accurate, and the SWAT team was mobilized."
Negotiators were able to talk Hendricks into surrendering without incident.
Details on the original attempted-murder case are sketchy. Portillo confirmed the incident took place in Brighton.
