Naturalist, historian, Colorado native and author Mary Taylor Young of Castle Rock is among 21 honored authors who have published books in or about Colorado. They were inducted into the newly formed Colorado Authors Hall of Fame on Sept. 14. This is the first Authors Hall of Fame in the nation. Young says her next book will be about the history of Cheley Colorado Camps in Estes Park in November: “I Found You in the Mountains: 100 Years of Cheley Colorado Camps.” To be followed by “a climate-themed sort of memoir about changes I have seen on the property we own in southern Colorado. Thinking I will call it `Bluebird Seasons.’” She will use her 20-year nature journal as a guide.

‘Naturally Colorado’

Seven local photographers exhibit their works through Oct. 26 in “Naturally Colorado” at the Curtis Center for the Arts, 2349 E. Orchard Road, Greenwood Village. Englewood Arts Presents

Pianist Susan Ellinger will open the series of Englewood Arts Presents concerts this fall at 2 p.m. on Sept. 28 in Hampden Hall in the Englewood Civic Center, 1000 Englewood Parkway.
