Kyle Leydon, a Commerce City resident, qualified for the state 5A golf tournament next week. He also qualified for the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship tournament outside of New Orleans.

Leydon tied for second at the Central Florida Regional tournament Sept. 24-25 at the Mission Inn Resort. He shot a 75-73 -- 148, then had to survive a match-play tournament to advance.
