After an emotional three weeks, the Evergreen Cougars rebounded vs Lewis Palmer in a big way. Junior QB, Tommy Poholsky, accounted for 5 TD passes and a rushing score in the Cougars 53-13 victory. His performance continues to be inspiring to the Cougar football program and the Evergreen community. In addition, Kyle Solawetz accounted for his first 2 TD receptions on the year, 8 months after the passing of his Mom, Kellie.
Both of these players are inspiring their teammates with strength, grief, and a commitment to one another. The Cougars look to continue their resurgence and to celebrate their Seniors vs Littleton on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. for Senior Night.
