What makes you the best person for the job?

My background and experience: 20+ years working in Behavioral Health, five years as Jeffco District Accountability Committee as Budget Chair are direct benefits to the districts most pressing needs. Students safety and financial responsibility.

What are your top three priorities if elected?

Student Safety: physical, emotional, and mental health.

Financial Responsibility.

Student Performance and Achievement.

Student test score results were flagging across the district, even before COVID-19. What is the number one way you’d seek to improve student achievement?

District and school accountability for performance. I would work with the new administration to ensure everyone involved, district, administrators, teachers and students were actively working towards increasing test results.

What do you believe is the most important thing to keep in mind when making Covid-related decisions?

Keeping students in school. In person learning is essential for the success of students.
