South Adams County fire officials are looking for the cause of a commercial structure fire.

It started shortly after 7:30 a.m. May 11 and wasn't extinguished until noon. A Facebook post from the fire district said the building was not occupied at the time of the fire. No one was hurt, and authorities did not have to close roads in the area.

South Adams firefighters got some help from the Thornton Fire Department, Brighton Fire Rescue, Adams County Fire Rescue and Northglenn Ambulance, Commerce City's ambulance provider, and Commerce City police.
