Broomfield High School's football team finished off an undefeatd regular season Oct. 28 at Heritage High School.

But it wasn't easy.

BHS held on for a 17-13 win, its 10th in as many starts. Heritage dropped to 7-3.

HHS quarterback Noah Shoen was 4-for-13 for 65 yards and a touchdown. That pass wound up in the arms of  Esteban Marquez, who finished with two catches for 51 yards. Zyriq Siegler caught the other two passes from Shoen and gained 66 yards.

Shoen was Heritage's leading rusher with 11 carries and 62 yards.

The state 4A playoff pairings are due out Sunday, Oct. 30. We'll update later.
