Littleton beat Skyview 48-26 in Littleton Oct. 7 in the class 3A League 4 Conference opener for both schools.

The Lions improved to 5-1 overall, while the Wolverines fell to 2-4.

No stats were available for Skyview. Littleton quarterback Tim Higgins was 13-for-21 for 182 yards and two touchdowns. One went to Conor Wherry, and the other went to Ethan Bird.

LHS' ground game was running on all cylinders. The Lions gained 292 yards, and Brycen Mhlanga gained most of those .. 232 in all on 28 carries. Five of those efforts went for touchdowns.

LHS visits Evergreen at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. Skyview plays host to Wheat Ridge at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14.
