Four athletes from the Stargate School -- Emma Kulbida (swimming, Carnegie Mellen), Madison Roecker (cheerleading, Nebraska Wesleyan) and Erica Derby and Avery Brumage (soccer, Northeast Community College, Norfolks, Nebraska) signed college letters of intent April 29.

The four represent the largest group of seniors that opted to move into college athletics.

"High school goes fast," said athletic director Dave Lopez. "College athletics goes faster. Trust me."
