It’s the most ‘Nutcracker’ time of the year

There are plenty of “Nutcracker” performances around the holiday season. One is by Colorado Ballet, which has tickets remaining for some dates, but we recall that it was completely sold out last year. Check coloradoballet.org if you’re wanting to see this. Also, Littleton Ballet Academy will perform “The Nutcracker” at the Joanna Ramsey Theatre, 6933 Raleigh St., Westminster: Dec. 20 at 7 p.m.; Dec 21 at 2 and 7 p.m.; Dec. 22 at noon and 4 p.m. Tickets, $20-$26. Englewood Arts Presents

Chamber Music of the Masters: 2 p.m. on Dec. 14, “Silver for the Holidays.” Cellist Silver Ainomae, Joshua Sawicki, piano, Colorady Symphony musicians. Hampden Hall, 1000 Englewood Parkway. Tickets: $25/$20; 18 and under free. 303-806-8196.

Hudson Gardens

Own an Original

The “Own an Original” show continues through December at the Littleton Museum, 6038 S. Gallup St., Littleton. Free during museum hours. “Near and Far,’ paintings by Julia Grundmeier and photographs by Carl Paulson, runs through December at Bemis Library, 6014 S. Datura St., just west of the museum in Littleton. Visit both!

‘Making Merry’

Curtis Center
