Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons St., Lone Tree, presents a concert, both in-person and virtual, with a band and vocalists, directed by Kenny Moten, performing music of James Taylor. (“Carolina on My Mind,” “You’ve Got A Friend,” and more). Audiences, in level yellow, will be limited to 100 for the Main Stage each time. SoSu Collaborative

Members of the SoSu Collaborative, who have a joint studio at Streets at Southglenn #306, will host an opening for “20 x 20 by 7” from 5 to 8 p.m. on March 25. A drawing for a box of original art will take place then. Each member has created a 20-inch by 20-inch painting and other works will also be for sale. The seven artist members enjoy individual studio workspace, but the facility is not usually open to the public.

Month of Photography = March!

Curtis Arts Center, 2349 E. Orchard Road, Greenwood Village, is one of many area galleries participating in the 2021 Month of Photography in March. “Black and White in the 21st Century” runs through April 24 and includes works by Jim Sidinger, Eric Biggerstaff, Tom Finke, Jeff Graves, Keith Pitman and Bruce Zander. Also featured: Anastasia Pottinger’s series, “Centenarians,” a photo essay of images of the human body at age 100.

Lucy Roucis

We were saddened to learn of the death of remarkable Phamaly actress Lucy Roucis recently. She was a star performer for the company of actors with disabilities and she spent many years living with early-onset Parkinson’s.

Peanuts

“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” based on the comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, plays March 19 through April 18 at Town Hall Arts Center in downtown Littleton, assuming, of course that we stay at the current level of COVID restrictions. Only 62 tickets can be sold for each show and THAC will also offer it streamed online April 9-11 and 16-18. Performances will be in socially distanced groups of one, two or three seats. The “Stonehenge: Ancient Mysteries and Modern Discoveries” exhibition opens March 12 at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, 2001 Colorado Blvd., Denver. Bemis Library

During March, Bemis Library, 6014 S. Datura St., Littleton, will offer Grab and Grow kits for children age preschool through fifth grade. “Just add water and veggies will grow!” Ask at the children’s reference desk. Painting for kids

March 25 is the date for a watercolor class for students in second to sixth grades at Hudson Gardens in Littleton on March 25. There is also a photography class for kids in the morning. $5 if registered by March 12. Masks required. Check COVID-19 protocols for classes.
