With their golden celebration two months away, alumni of the Northglenn High School class of 1969 are still trying to locate about 10 percent of their classmates.
“Right now, there are about 40 people that we just have no information on,” said Jeannette Riggans, a member of the class reunion committee. “We have about 100 people coming right now, but we can’t tell if we have the right names for everyone.”
Riggans said classmates will celebrate in a more low-key manner for their 50th anniversary.
The group is hosting a party for members at 5 p.m. Sept. 13 at Lodos Bar and Grill, 3053 W. 104th Ave., in Westminster. Tickets for that are $27.50 in advance and $35 at the door and covers food costs.
A second celebration is Sept. 14 at the Northglenn Moose Lodge, 11449 York St. in Northglenn.
Alumni can email the organizers at NGreunion69@gmail.com or Riggans directly at moneymakerjet@msn.com if you have information about missing alumni or to inquire about tickets to the celebrations.
