The mayor of the Town of Parker announced Thursday that he’s recovering from a heart attack.
Jeff Toborg, who was elected in 2020, posted the announcement to his Facebook page.
“This past Thursday, I suffered a heart attack in the early hours of the morning,” he wrote. “Fortunately I sought care very early and I am thankful to the doctors and nurses at Sky Ridge Medical Center for their swift action.”
Later that day he underwent an angioplasty procedure and had two stents placed in his heart.
“As I take a moment to catch my breath, heal and reflect on these events, I count my blessings for having an incredible wife (and my personal RN), loving family and dedicated friends who are always there for us,” he wrote. “I look forward to resuming the good work we are doing together to make our hometown the best it can be.”
