Police make arrest in deadly fight in Parker

Two suspects were arrested late Aug. 4 in connection to a fight that broke out in Cottonwood that left one man dead

Parker police have arrested a man in connection with an Aug. 4 fight that left one person dead.
 
Kyle Alexander Gingles, 23, was arrested and booked on second-degree murder and assualt charges for allegedly stabbing and killing one man, according to an Aug. 5 news release from the Parker Police Department. He was booked on second degree murder and assault charges in the Douglas County Jail.
 
According to the release, police responded to a fight at the 8400 block of S. Rabbitbrush Way shortly before 7 p.m. Upon arrival, one man was on the ground and he appeared to have been stabbed. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died. Witnesses stated two suspects fled the scene following the fight.
 
The police department reported via social media it had made two arrests at about 11 p.m. that night.
Gingles was booked into Douglas County Jail early Aug. 5. The second suspect was released pending futher investigation, according to the release. Incidents leading up to the stabbing are still under investigation.
