Seven businesses were broken into early Monday morning in a series of what Parker police have called “smash-and-grab” incidences.

The suspect used a rock to break the glass of the front doors of the businesses and stole cash registers and the drawers of cash registers.

According to a press release from Parker police Oct. 15, police found a number of cash register drawers were found at Parker United Methodist Church. Police are investigating the scene.

The Parker Police Department released a video of the break-in at Honey Baked Ham at 18870 E. Plaza Drive Monday afternoon. In the video, the suspect appears to break the glass front door of the store with a rock, removes the rest of the glass, walks to the counter and steals what looks like two tablets. The suspect walks back to the door but turns back to retrieve the rock, which landed behind the counter.

The suspect appears to be wearing a dark hoodie and white shoes.

According to a release from the Parker Police Department, police responded to an alarm at Colonna’s Pizza, at 11215 S. Parker Road, shortly after 3 a.m. The five other businesses that reported being burglarized are:

•Donut House, 9807 S. Parker Road
•Great Clilps, 9811 S. Parker Road
•Papa Murphy’s, 18741 Ponderosa Drive
•La Casita Mexican Restaurant, 18951 E. Mainstreet

Police are looking for a single suspect, a male dressed in all black. Parker police are currently gathering and reviewing video surveillance.

The burglaries come days after 15 businesses in Arvada, Denver and Littleton were broken into since Oct. 11.
