Conifer High School earned the eight seed and will face Mead at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at Aurora Sports Park, East Colfax Avenue and Tower Road. The winer gets either Holy Family or Palmer Ridge in the 2:30 p.m. quarterfinals.
Ponderosa drew the No. 5 seed and takes on No. 12 Frederick at 10 a.m. Oct. 22. The winner gets either Riverdale Ridge or Pueblo Central in the quarterfinals.
Wbeat Ridge, the No. 14 seed, takes on No. 3 Erie in a 12;15 p.m. game. The winner faces either Elizabeth or Windsor in the quarterfinals. D'Evelyn has the No. 7 seed and drew 10th-seeded Roosevelt in the 12:15 first-round game. The winner takes on either Pueblo South or Severance in the quarterfinals.
