State 5A football playoffs: Legacy earns a postseason spot

AURORA -- Legacy High School earned a spot in the state 5A football tournament. The Colorado High School Activities Association released the brackets Oct. 30.

The Lightning (8-2 and winners of the class 5A League 2 title) drew the 12th seed and hosts Arvada West (4-6, 2-3 in class 5A League 1) in the first round. Date and time were not immediately available. The winner faces Pine Creek in the second round.
