Junior Alex Anthony faces Valor Christian's Ryan Greenfield in the opening round at No. 3 singles. Anthony is a junior, while Greenfield is a ninth-grader. At No. 1 doubles, Rufus Thompson and Samuel Law of the Lightning face James Lynch and Aidan Sobolevsky of Regis in the opening round. Samuel Neuhaffen and David Johnson of the Lightning open up their effort at No. 3 doubles against Lakewood's Brian Kong and Mathis Joens.
There's also a Riverdale Ridge representative at the state 4A meet in Pueblo. He is Ryan O'Callaghan, a senior from Riverdale Ridge High School. He faces Cheyenne Mountain's Steven Zhou in the opening round at No. 3 singles.
