Y/OUR Denver 2020
Winners of the “Y/OUR Denver” 2020 photography competition will be on display through March 1 on the Denver Architecture Foundation and Colorado Photographic Arts websites — DenverArchitecture.org and cpacphoto.org/exhibitions. Best in Show: “Crossed Paths” by Scott Wilson; Best Exterior: “Reconstruction of the Denver Art Museum” by Faina Gurevich; Best Interior: “Belly of the Cathedral” by Edward Huang; Best Detail: “Denver Series # 72” by Rodney Gene Mahaffey. The annual “Doors Open Denver” event consisted of three weeks of virtual tours this year.
Benchmark Theatre
Benchmark will hold its annual “Feverdream Festival,” following a 48-hour playwriting festival. Writers will take guidelines, genre, holiday prompts and create a 10-minute play. Walk for the holidays
Remember that the High Line Canal paths and walking paths in our parks and along the South Platte River are available over the holidays to work off youthful steam and possible excess cookies for adults. Look for birds who stay through the winter with us. You may see a straggler from another flyway who got lost!
