Two people were reportedly injured in a shooting in Lone Tree yesterday morning.

Nate Jones, the communications director for the City of Lone Tree, said in an email Sept. 30 that a domestic incident took place in the parking lot of the Word of Life church.

“Both people involved were taken to the hospital yesterday morning,” Jones said.

Denver7 reported that police were called to a domestic violence incident around 4:40 a.m. Sept. 29, and upon arriving, officers found two people were wounded.

There is no threat to the public, Denver7 reported.

This is a developing story that will be updated as more information becomes available.
