While school is back in session, that does not mean the summertime fun is completely over. End the summer with one last free summer concert in the park at the annual Summer Sunset Concert.

Friends and family are invited to an evening of energetic music and delicious food on Aug. 25 at Civic Green Park,  located at 9370 S Ridgeline Blvd.

This band is not shy when it comes to putting on exciting summer performances. The band Soul School has been traveling all around the state this summer, getting people up out of their seats and dancing.

Soul School has performed at art festivals in Denver to private performances and will be coming to town center in Highlands Ranch to help residents celebrate the end of the summer.

With a large repertoire of music, Soul School is sure to get everyone singing and dancing along to golden oldies, motown, rhythm and blues and rock funk.

The band will start playing at 6:30 p.m.

Food will be available for purchase as guests will have the chance to enjoy dinner and dessert from food trucks such as The Burger Bus, Mac ‘N Noodles and Sweet Shack Shave Ice.

The event is a partnership between the Highlands Ranch Community Association and the Highlands Ranch Metro District

The district asks guests to avoid bringing glass containers to the park. In addition, dogs are not allowed at Civic Green Park.

More information about the concert can be found on the metro district website
