Riverdale Regional Park latest to get Rapid testing

A new Adams County opened a new rapid testing site at Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Rd. in Brighton, that opened Jan. 6 will operate Wednesdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through the end of March.

The new site replaces several rapid testings sites that had been spread throughout Adams County. The Water World testing site will also remain open through March 2021.

“Consolidating these sites into one location allows us to continue providing free rapid tests to Adams County residents in one consistent location with more than ample space to conduct testing operations,” said Emma Pinter, Adams County Commissioner and Board Chair. “There is still a great need for testing in our community, and we want to ensure residents who need a free test can get one.”

Registration is not required for the Riverdale testing site, however, it is encouraged for the Water World testing site.

For additional testing locations across Adams County and the metro area, visit Tri-County Health Department’s website or Adams County’s COVID-19 website, adamscountycovid19.org.

Android or iPhone users can also download the COVID View App. The new COVID View mobile app allows residents to access outbreak data - such as when two or more positive cases are active - for Adams County, along with current case stats, restrictions, and CDPHE dial information. The app also has free COVID-19 testing site locations and many other COVID-19 resources. The app is available in the Apple App Store or on Google Play by searching “COVID View”.
