HISTORY:

After serving clients down from Greeley or up from Northglenn, Silk & Co. is settling into its new location on Brighton’s Main Street. Owner Pamela Hernandez, formerly a registered nurse at Platte Valley Medical Center, was interested in providing injectable treatments and chose to venture out on her own in 2015. After building her clientele in booths at local shops and seeing how eager clients were for her services, she moved to her own location.

In her current location, the day spa offers 282 different services — ranging from simple facial treatments and waxing to tattoo removal, spray tanning, laser hair removal, sexual wellness and erectile dysfunction treatments. The clientele is watched over by four registered nurses and four licensed aestheticians in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere.

"I think it’s a one-stop shop, and we like for it to look nice but with a hometown feel. Brighton is a small community and word of mouth is huge, so we want people to feel comfortable.”
