Metro Denver Farmers Market is a unique non-profit farmers’ market run by five local farmers who have been in business for as long as the market has been operating. These farmers also serve on the board of directors, making the market more like a family where each farmer is a co-owner. The market takes place on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and brings together local merchants, food vendors, and farmers from the local and state area, including regions such as the Western Slope, Pueblo, and Hudson. Visitors to the market can expect to find a wide variety of fresh produce, flowers, clothing, and other locally made products. One of the unique aspects of the market is that the farmers themselves are present and actively involved, allowing customers to connect directly with the producers. As a non-profit organization, any profits generated by the market are reinvested into supporting the farmers, further contributing to their livelihoods and the sustainability of local agriculture.

HISTORY:

As the oldest farmers market in Denver, the Metro Denver Farmers Market has proudly served the community for 46 years. Throughout its history, the market has remained dedicated to maintaining a farmer-centered approach, working diligently to preserve its agricultural roots and uphold the values of local farming.
