For 15 years, Personal Achievement has been a prominent figure in Wheat Ridge, providing martial arts classes that have  steadily gained popularity over time. The classes offered cater to both kids and families, focusing on disciplines such as Tae Kwon Do, kickboxing, and Jiu-Jitsu. While kickboxing classes provide intense total body workouts, the emphasis remains on the fundamentals of the sport and self-defense.

Additionally, they offer the unique Cage Fitness Bag, a grappling dummy that offers an exhilarating and entertaining workout experience. The owners, Korey and Sara Stites, are deeply committed to community involvement, evidenced by being awarded Business of the Year twice.

Additionally, Korey is an active member of the city council and collaborates extensively with local elementary schools by raising funds for their P.E. programs along with generously offering free classes at community events.

HISTORY:

With 36 years of experience, Korey Stites’ passion for martial arts led him to open a karate school in his hometown of Wheat Ridge. Having worked at a chain of martial arts schools in Colorado, Korey recognized the transformative power of martial arts and decided to open his own school.

What began as a one-person operation has evolved into a thriving enterprise with Korey’s wife later joining the business after a successful career as an elementary school teacher.
