Located near the Centennial Civic Center, the park opened in 2012 and became Centennial’s first city-owned park. In a birthday party-themed event, the Friday celebration will feature the park’s splash pad, a craft station, face painting, balloon twisters and other attractions throughout the 11-acre park to celebrate its opening 10 years ago.
Attendees will also find representatives from Arapahoe Libraries, a sponsor of the event that will be promoting its summer reading program.
