Jett Baker, son of Julie and John Baker, has been nominated as November Teen of the Month for the Idaho Springs Elks Lodge #607 Teen Scholarship Fund.
Baker is a senior at Clear Creek High School and was captain of the football. Jett also plays basketball and baseball, is a member of the National Honors Society, and drives a pedicab for the Mountain Youth Network. His hobbies are science and sports.
In April, Baker and five other Teen of the Month nominees from CCHS will be up for the Teen of the Year Scholarship Award.
All Clear Creek County students graduating in spring 2022 can apply for Elks scholarship money.
Applications for the C.L. Mackey and Lyle F. Wohlers Scholarships can be picked up in the Clear Creek High School counselors’ office. Applications must be submitted to the Idaho Springs Elks Lodge before April 1, 2022. For more information contact Mary Broyles, the lodge’s scholarship chair, at 303-908-1852.
