Egg-painting workshop to aid Ukraine

Valkarie Gallery, 455 S. Saulsbury St., Lakewood, offers workshops March 21, 22 and April 7, 9 at noon, 3 and 6 p.m. on painting the elaborate and beautiful Pysanky, Ukranian Easter eggs. A $100 donation to the International Rescue Committee to assist with Ukranian Aid, plus a $1 ticket fee, will get you a workshop spot. Visit the shop and select a time to register your space (10 people per class). Then email your confirmation of a $100 donation. Teacher Maria Valentina Sheets learned from a Ukraine native and will teach the traditional beeswax-resist technique. 972-672-8965. All proceeds will go directly to Ukraine Aid.

Ovation West

Ovation West Musical Theatre will present “Godspell” by Michael Tebelak, book, and Stephen Schwartz, music and lyrics. Library open house

The Arapahoe Libraries community is invited to an open house at Eloise May Library, 1471 S. Parker Road in unincorporated Arapahoe County, between noon and 2 p.m. on March 27 to enjoy crafts for the kids and information about the many library services available. Solo show at museum

Artist Kalliopi Monoyios will have a solo show, “Patterns of Consumption,” at the Littleton Museum, 6028 S. Gallup St., Littleton from April 1 to June 26. It will look at our interrelationship with plastic — the material we love to hate. A community art project in March and April will help the public understand how much single-use plastic they use in a week. The results will be displayed at a community event in June. Jazz orchestra

Colorado Repertory Jazz Orchestra returns to its start-up location, Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons St., Lone Tree, for a session of Big Band Jazz at 7:30 p.m. on March 26. Stories on Stage
