The holidays spelled a few changes for Improve Wadsworth.

Here’s what to know if you’re in the area.

According to Improve Wadsworth information available on WhatsUpWheatRidge.com, northbound Wadsworth traffic may shift daily around a work zone on the right side of the road. Northbound single lane closures are possible from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Work was briefly paused after noon Dec. 30, resuming Jan. 3, and 46th Avenue has been closed for several days while utility crews continue work.

Work continues near the Clear Creek Trail east of Wadsworth, but the trail remains open. A temporary trail around the work area will be provided and flaggers may be present during work hours (7 a.m - 5 p.m.).

Temporary RTD bus stop closures are necessary during construction. RTD Rider Alerts for route 76, found at rtd-denver.com/app/alerts/routes/76 provide the latest bus stop closure information.

Residents with questions about the project are encouraged to contact the Improve Wadsworth hotline at 303-390-0878 or email wadsworthproject@ci.wheatridge.co.us.
