Cody Leblanc, Fort Lupton Chamber of Commerce executive director, stepped aside at the end of June, according to a news release.

Leblanc joined the chamber in July 2021 but announced to the chamber board June 15 that he would be stepping down to care for his 89-year-old grandmother with medical issues.

"Cody has done so much for our chamber in a year as executive director. He researched and integrated new technology to help run the chamber efficiently, " said Jen Bell, president of the Fort Lupton chamber.

"In addition, cleaning up loose ends that were not clear. Cody and employee Lindsay Louis created a training tracking system. He worked countless hours and donated his time to get the new chamber office running,"

During the transition, Louis will continue to be at the chamber office Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through July 21. Fort Lupton Chamber of Commerce Vice President Francis LeBarbera will take turns answering the chamber phone with Bell.

Also, chamber board members Mariann Johnson, Mary Ellen LeBlanc, Kristel Acres, Chris Cross, Matt Houston, Gabriel Saucedo, Gloria Carpenter and Brian Biehm will help with emails and returning calls.

"I'm personally very grateful to Cody for his dedication to our Fort Lupton community. He loves his town and the people. He always works to better Fort Lupton and bring the community together. I hope my kids grow up to be hard working and responsible as Cody," Bell said.

Bell will also be available by cell phone at 720-686-6524.
