In Parker, there is too much construction at one time. This has led to dissatisfaction for people around Parker due to excessive traffic and having to take alternate routes to avoid the traffic. It is understood that construction is necessary and will lead to frustration, but the issue arises when there is an excessive amount of construction and you're unable to take alternate routes around the traffic.
As students of Legend High School, we need to be able to get to school on time for the school day. This can become a large issue when we already have issues with traffic. Our schedule and Cimarron Middle School's schedule collide where traffic is very backed up. This obviously gets much harder when there is construction on multiple routes to the school. If we only had one construction project going on at a time in Parker, we would be able to focus on that one project a lot better and put more resources into it to make it go quicker. This would also help keep other routes open so that even if one way to school is blocked due to construction, there is another route open that isn't being worked on with construction.
A solution to this problem would be lowering the amount of construction that is happening at a time. Instead of having multiple projects going on at a time, focus our resources and manpower to finish the project as soon as possible. This will help tremendously because it will help with the amount of traffic that builds up due to traffic.
Sincerely, Legend High School Students
