Bradley Weinmaster, who is in a three-way tie for fourth place, fired a 1-over 71 to lead the Ravens at Pelican Lakes. He had four birdies in his round, three on successive holes. He birdied the par-3, 216-yard fourth hole, the par-5 521-yard fifth hole and the par-4, 366-yard sixth hole, His other birdie was on the par-4, 14th hole.
Weinmaster's second round begins at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 34
Will Balliet carded a 3-over 73 and sits in a tie for ninth place. He birdied the par-4, 436-yard seventh hole, the par-3, 215-yard 12th hole and the par-3, 155-yard 17th hole, Balliet starts his second round at 10:40 a.m. Oct. 4.
Aiden Sweeney also fired a 3-over 73 in his opening round. He birdied the fifth hole, the sixth hole and the 526-yard, par-5 second hole. Sweeney's second round begins at 10:50 a.m. Oct. 4.
Carter Seis shot a 90 in his opening round, which put him in 76th place. His birdie was on the par-4, 376-yard 13th hole. He'll start his second round at 10:50 a.m. Oct. 4.
