A woman who walked out of a residence in Highlands Ranch was taken into custody by deputies following a shooting that left one male dead.

Douglas County deputies responded to a report of a shooting the morning of July 18 at Timber Hawk Circle near Eastridge Recreation Center and Ace Hardware.
After 5:30 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office tweeted an update saying medical personnel prounounced a male inside the residence dead.
Victorine Galvan Grice walked out of the residence and was taken into custody. Grice is being held for investigation of second-degree murder.
The male’s identity is expected to be released by the Douglas County Coroner’s Office later.
